Provider and scope

These terms cover the public website and free Hubio.Tools, including sharing. Paid plugins, hosting, domains, customer accounts and SaaS require their own terms and orders. Browsing or a custom-development enquiry does not place a paid order. Read these rules before using a feature; statutory rights remain intact.
Permitted use
Use only data and files you are entitled to handle. You need authority to share others' data. Do not submit passwords, secret tokens or private URLs to network checks. Illegal content, phishing, malware, rights infringement, unauthorised attacks, bypassing protections and deliberate overload are prohibited. Checking another server does not authorise attacking it.
Encrypted sharing
Messages, files and filenames are encrypted in the browser using AES-256-GCM. We do not store the key after # and cannot recover it. Anyone obtaining the complete link may use it. Send it through a trusted channel.
Current limits: 20 files, 8 MB total, messages up to 100,000 characters, subject to other technical limits. Validity is 15 minutes, 1 hour, 24 hours or 7 days with 1, 2, 5, 10 or 20 opens. Viewing the introductory page alone does not consume an open. Successful ciphertext retrieval after activating the button consumes an open even if subsequent decryption fails. The last permitted fetch removes the active record.
Expired content is inaccessible. Cleanup is scheduled every 5 minutes and may be delayed by faults. Hosting backups may retain a copy for up to 14 days. Deletion does not remove downloaded copies held by recipients. This is not an archive; retain a copy you need. Encryption does not verify the sender or file safety.
Link creation requires Turnstile, available capacity and compliance with request limits. Failed verification or full storage prevents new links.
Results and availability
Local tools run in the browser; network checks use a server and external sources. Verify results before important use. JWT decoding does not verify signatures; SSL checks are not comprehensive audits; email checks do not guarantee delivery. Work on copies of PDF and image files; compression may not reduce size and conversion may change quality.
We charge no fee for these free features. No separate SLA is agreed; maintenance and outages can limit availability. Liability follows applicable law; we do not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or mandatory consumer rights.
Rights, contact and changes
Input rights remain with their holders. Content is used only for the requested technical feature, not advertising. Platform brands and logos belong to their holders and do not themselves confirm a partnership. “Coming soon” means a plugin is not yet available. Custom work, price and licensing are agreed separately.
Report problems or abuse to info@hubio.sk, describing the issue and link identifier without the key. We may proportionately restrict abuse or act on legal duties; this does not introduce general reading of ciphertext. See Privacy.
Updated terms do not retroactively change an agreed contract. Slovak law applies without restricting mandatory consumer protections under applicable law. Access to a competent court or authority remains available.
